Privacy policy
Last updated October 9, 2026
This policy explains how Lacie LLC ("Lacie", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit lacie.store, buy from us, or sign up for our emails or texts.
What we collect
- Information you give us: name, email, phone number, shipping and billing address, and order details when you check out, sign up, or contact us. Payments are processed by Shopify and our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
- Information collected automatically: device and browser information, pages viewed, and how you interact with the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies (for example, to keep items in your cart).
How we use it
- To process, ship, and support your orders
- To send order updates, and — if you opt in — marketing emails and texts
- To run, secure, and improve the store
- To comply with legal obligations
Who we share it with
Service providers that help us run the store, such as Shopify (hosting and checkout), payment processors, shipping carriers, and our email/SMS provider (Klaviyo). We may also share data with advertising partners to show relevant ads; you can opt out on our Your Privacy Choices page. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Text messages
If you opt in to texts, we'll send order notifications, cart reminders, and marketing messages. Opt-in data and consent for text messaging are never shared with third parties except the messaging partners that operate our text program. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and from texts by replying STOP. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or move your personal information, or to opt out of targeted advertising. Email spencer@lacie.store to make a request.
Retention
We keep order records as long as needed for accounting, tax, and legal purposes, and marketing data until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
Children
Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
